Digital etiquette is the mannerisms one would use when
using online communications such as emails, blogs, and various types of social
media. There are correct ways and incorrect ways of digital etiquette, and in
this question we will be list the incorrect ways of digital etiquette.

“Don't type in CAPS, typing in caps is
considered shouting so it is best advised not to type in all caps when writing
an email.
·
Don’t spam, do not link any advertisement
with your emails when sending to large amounts of receivers.
·
Don’t use offensive language, when typing an
email it is best not to use offensive language because it is obviously rude and
it will not tolerated in a business email or any email in general.
·
Don’t steal other people’s identity, identity
theft is a criminal act and if caught will be sent to jail since it’s a crime
and morally wrong.
·
Don’t distribute illegal material,
distributing illegal material is against the law and will be sent to jail.
·
Don’t expect a response straight away, it is
wring to expect a response right away, because you have to remember that the
receiver has a life and responsibilities to.
·
Don’t broadcast only; engage with others,
emailing is not just to broadcast your message but also to keep in touch with
family that lives half way across the country and to keep in touch with
friends.
·
Don’t ‘reply-all’ for a personal
conversation, personal conversations are meant to be private and everyone on
your contact list should not know about your private conversations.
